Dr. Cooper completed his Family Residency in 1992 at the McLennan County Medical Education and Research Foundation finishing as Chief Resident. In 1989, he graduated from the University of Texas Medical School – Houston. His Bachelor of Science degree is from Brigham Young University, 1984.

Dr. Cooper is a Board Certified Diplomat of the American Board of Family Practice, he is a member of the Texas Medical Association, the American Academy of Family Practice, and the Texas Academy of Family Practice. He is also a Fellow of the American Academy of Family Practice.

Dr. Cooper, his wife Tammy, and their family have enjoyed being involved in this community since 1992. He considers it a privilege to provide personalized quality healthcare to his patients.
